Guided tour of the Atlantic coast knowing the diversity of Rocha's ecosystems.
. We leave Montevideo in the direction of Laguna Garzón bordering the Atlantic and the largest extension of psamófilo mount in the country. We disembark in La Paloma and in the afternoon we tour the Laguna de Rocha. The next day we visit two very particular areas, Valle de la Luna and Bosque Psamófilo de Costa Azul, adding the rest on a desert beach. You can not miss the walk through the dunes of Valizas to the Cerro de la Buena Vista, the adventure in all-terrain vehicles when entering the Cabo Polonio National Park, the observation of the colony of sea lions and the visit to the lighthouse. As a finishing touch, the trip to the Cerro Verde protected area and La Coronilla islands, visiting the Sea Turtle Center. Includes transportation, meals, and lodging.

To La Paloma along the coast

Visit to the Laguna de Rocha protected area, an extensive territory with an extraordinary biological diversity, a refuge for more than 220 species of birds. On the shores of this wonderful place is a typical village of artisanal fishermen. These residents are in charge of collecting and fishing the most delicious flavors of this coastal lagoon. Moon Valley and Psamophile Forest

Guided tour of the thousand-year-old gullies of Punta Rubia and Santa Isabel, a few meters from La Pedrera. An ancient landscape that resembles the moon (hence its name) that invites you to discover fossils and traces of native animals. The strange erosion of the soil generates a unique special attraction. We continue along the nature trail of the Psamófilo Forest of Costa Azul, an extension of 2 hectares of native forest where you can enjoy the observation and recognition of the flora and fauna of the place. A space that invites contemplation and rest. Includes transfer.

Cabo Polonio and Valizas

Walk through the dunes of Valizas to the Cerro de la Buena Vista, a natural viewpoint to observe the richness of the landscape, with its mirrors of water, islands and towns. The tour continues towards Cabo Polonio entering the mythical all-terrain vehicles, we walk through the town, we recognize the colony of sea lions and we visit the lighthouse that gives its name to the spa. Includes transfer, entrance to Cabo Polonio park, lunch and snack.

Cerro Verde and Coronilla Islands

We go through Cerro Verde, one of the most spectacular coastal viewpoints in the country. Between the spas of La Coronilla and Santa Teresa, this protected area is located, ideal for bird watching, turtles, whales, sea lions and sea lions. During the summer season it is the ideal time to spot the green turtle and it is one of the places chosen in Rocha for the installation of a Sea Turtle Center that we will visit on the tour. Includes transfer, lunch and snack.
